While brands have started working on the Android 16 update, several devices have yet to receive the Android 15 update. Realme C53 was one of these devices, but it has now started receiving the Android 15-based Realme UI 6 update.
Many users of the Realme C53 have reportedly received the Android 15 update. The update rollout started a few days ago, but since updates are released in batches, it may take a few weeks for all devices to receive it.
The stable Android 15 update for the Realme C53 is rolling out with the build number RMX376x_15.F.57, as per the users’ report. If the build number is different on your device, please let us know in the comments. Since this is a major update, it is larger than regular updates, probably in GB.
The Realme C53 was launched with Android 13, which means Android 15 is the second major update for the device. While the complete Android 15 update changelog isn’t available, you can expect some new AI features, improved performance, enhanced security, and more. Here’s the changelog for Realme C55, most of the changes will be the same for Realme C53 as well. It appears that the update is based on the July security patch.
Android updates are rolled out in stages and take several weeks to reach everyone in all regions. If you have a Realme C53 (RMX3760 or RMX3762) and haven’t received the major Android 15 update, it will be available soon.
To ensure your phone is ready for Android 15, make sure it’s running the latest Android 14 update. Regularly check for updates in Settings. Once the update is available, take a backup of your phone first and then install it.
