Oppo has now released the official ColorOS 16 update for the Oppo F27 Pro+. This marks the second major update for the device, following the ColorOS 15 update.
The Android 16-based ColorOS 16 update for the Oppo F27 Pro+ is currently available in India, and Oppo plans to release it in other regions soon.
As usual, the update is first available for beta users to apply and test. The same build will also be released in batches to everyone in the next few days. However, if you’re a beta user and want to get access to the official ColorOS 16 update early, you can easily apply and install it.
To apply for the official ColorOS 16 on the Oppo F27 Pro+, make sure your device is running the detectable version, CPH2643_16.0.3.510(EX01). Then follow the steps mentioned below.
- Go to Settings > System & update > Software update > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Release candidate > Apply Now
- Detect the update > Download Now – You will receive the new version.
Make sure to take a backup before installing the update on your device. Also, charge your phone to at least 50%.
As you know this is the major update, it packs several new features such as a major design overhaul, improved performance, smoother animations, and a plethora of new features and updated system apps. Apart from these changes, the update will bump up the monthly security patch version.
