Two months ago, HMD Global launched its latest XR-series rugged smartphone, the Nokia XR21. While most modern phones are running on Android 13, the Nokia XR21 initially came with the Android 12 operating system. The company has finally listened to the users and started rolling out the much-awaited system upgrade to the Nokia XR21. Read along to know all details about the Nokia XR21 Android 13 update.
Nokia is pushing the new software to the XR21 with a V2.210 build number. At the time of writing, the Android 13 update is in a rolling phase and is currently available to users in Romania and Malaysia. It will be available to everyone very soon. As it is a major upgrade, it weighs a whopping 2.5GB in size, so, make sure you have enough storage and data on your device.
Moving to the features and changes, then the Nokia XR21 Android 13 update is rolling with features such as Material You support for third-party app icons, improved quick settings and notification layout, improved digital wellbeing, clipboard history improvements, per app language preference, and more. It will also bump up the security patch to July 2023.

If you own the Nokia XR21, then you may have already received the OTA notification on your phone, else, you can navigate to Settings > System > System Update, if the update is not available, then wait for a few days.
Before updating your phone, make sure to charge it to at least 50% and also take a backup of important data.
