Last month, Motorola kicked off the Android 16 beta testing program for select Edge series and G series phones. Now the company has expanded the beta testing opportunities to other phones, including the Razr 2024 and Razr 2025 lineup, and recently launched the Moto G96.
If you’re unaware, the beta program for Motorola devices is known as MFN or Motorola Feedback Network. If you want to experience the Android 16 beta on your Motorola smartphone, you can join MFN once it goes live for your device in your region.
At the moment, Motorola has not rolled out the Android 16 beta update for any of its phones. However, the testing is underway for the following models:
- Motorola Razr 2025 – US
- Motorola Razr+ 2025
- Motorola Razr 2024 – US
- Motorola Razr+ 2024
- Motorola Razr 50 Ultra – India, LATAM, EMEA, Brazil
- Motorola Razr 60 Ultra – India, LATAM, EMEA, Brazil
- Motorola G96 – India
- Motorola Edge 60 Pro – EMEA, India, Brazil
- Motorola Edge 60- EMEA, India, Brazil
- Motorola Edge 60 Fusion – EMEA, India, Brazil
- Motorola Edge 50 Pro – LATAM, Brazil, India, EMEA
- Motorola Edge 50 Fusion – LATAM, Brazil
- Motorola G35 5G – EMEA, LATAM, India, Brazil
How to Join Motorola’s MFN Beta
- At first, you need to register on the Motorola community website.
- Make sure your profile page is updated with your current IMEI or SN of your device.
- Opt-in your device for the MFN on your Motorola community profile.
- Keep your phone updated to the latest version.
- Now, visit the registration link that you will find on the current testing opportunity page. Make sure to visit the page for your device and region.
- Fill required details and submit the form.
Motorola will provide more details to participants via email, so be sure to check your inbox, including the spam folder. Additionally, you can regularly check for new software updates in settings.
Speaking of the features coming with the Android 16 update, then the upgrade will bring Live updates, Desktop Window, Group notifications, Material 3 Expressive redesign, New Emojis, Embedded Photo Picker, APV codec support, Predictive Back upgrades, HDR screenshots, Advanced Protection Mode, and more.
