It’s been over a month since Android 16 was released, yet some devices are still waiting on the Android 15 update. One such device is the Moto G 5G 2024, which is eligible for Android 15 but hasn’t received it yet. Fortunately, the stable Android 15 update for the device is expected to roll out soon.
Rogers, a Canadian communication company, has released its latest update roadmap for August, which also includes the Android 15 update release date for the Moto G 5G 2024. Since Fido follows a similar schedule, the same update date has been mentioned on its roadmap as well.
According to the official schedule, the Moto G 5G 2024 will receive the update starting August 5, at least in Canada for the mentioned carriers. If you are on these carriers, make sure your phone is ready for the update.

The Moto G 5G 2024 was released last year with Android 14. This means Android 15 will be its first major update. Since this is an entry-level device eligible for only one update, the Android 15 will be the last update for the device.
