How to Soft Reset ROG Ally Using Windows 11 Tools
If you haven’t been successful enough with the cloud download for Windows 11 while performing the BIOS method of factory resetting your ROG Ally, you can always use the good old reset options that are built within Windows 11 itself. Here are the steps.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your ASU ROG Ally. Make sure that your device is plugged into power.
Step 2: Now, tap on System, and on the right-hand side scroll down till you see Recovery.
Step 3: Tap on the Recovery option and click on the Reset This PC button.
Step 4: A pop-up box will appear asking if you want to keep everything or simply remove everything. Choose the option that you want to go with.
Step 5: Once selected, the factory reset process will begin.
Step 6: Your ASUS ROG Ally will restart a couple of times to complete the reset process.
