Here’s How you can Enable Dark Mode on WhatsApp (Android) [Right Now]

The latest version of WhatsApp Messenger (V. 2.20.13) brings an app-wide dark mode on the app. Before go-ahead to the activation steps, let’s take a sneak peek on this feature. WhatsApp’s native dark mode feature is dubbed as, dark theme available under the theme section. After changing the theme to dark, the color of elements on the chat page will change to dark green. As of now, the feature is still under testing and only available for beta users. But anyone can get the taste of WhatsApp’s latest feature without rooting or any mod. For this, make sure that your app is updated to the latest version 2.20.13. You can download the apk from websites like APKMirror or you can also join the beta program on Play Store.   1. After downloading the app, tap on the three-dots menu icon available on the home screen of WhatsApp.
  2. Now head over to the Settings > Chats > Theme.
  3. Here you can change the theme to Dark.
  4. You can also choose the battery saver option.

Not only this, It also works with the system default theme. You can also change the system wide dark mode on your smartphone to get access of this feature.
