Techmaniacs claims to have reached out to industry sources and obtained some insights into the pricing of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. According to the source, the pricing of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will remain unchanged, contrary to the previous rumor that suggested a potential price reduction.
Considering the current situation of rising memory prices, Samsung is less likely to lower the prices. However, due to the competition from Apple, which maintains the same prices, Samsung is more likely to keep the prices the same as last year.
The pricing of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ is still being finalized. However, Samsung is likely to maintain the same prices as last year. If the Galaxy S26 base model features 256GB storage instead of 128GB, its pricing will be higher than last year’s base model, as the Galaxy S25 base model came with 128GB.
There may be slight price differences among different storage sizes, but the overall average price should stay roughly the same as last year. For example, the price of the 256GB model might increase, while the price of the 512GB model might be slightly lower, maintaining the average price as last year.
The pricing strategy may also vary by region, and given the current market instability, no leak can be considered 100% accurate until Samsung officially reveals the pricing.
