Xiaomi’s spin-off Redmi is prepared to launch the successor of the Redmi Pad. The forthcoming tablet will be entitled the Redmi Pad 2. The tablet will come with some major upgrades.

Redmi Pad 2 – Your First Look at the Tablet

The Redmi Pad 2 will feature an 11-inch 90Hz 2.5K display with a 1600 X 2500 pixels resolution. The tablet will hit the markets in 4GB / 128GB and 8GB / 256GB storage options alongside the Graphite Gray shade.

In terms of design, the power button is placed at the top right side of the tablet, whereas the volume rocker is available on the right side. The bottom has a dual-stereo speaker setup, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB C port. Take a look at the renders of the forthcoming tablet.

The tablet will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra chipset and run on HyperOS 2.1 skin. Redmi Pad 2 will boast a whopping 9,000mAh battery and support 18W fast charging.

On the back, the Redmi Pad 2 has a single-lens 8MP AI camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Whereas, a 5MP snapper will be available on the front. For high-quality audio output, the tablet has a four-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

Moving to the pricing, the 4GB / 128GB variant of Redmi Pad 2 will cost โ‚ฌ229, whereas the 8GB / 256GB variant will be priced at โ‚ฌ279.
