Asus has finally released the stable Android 15 update for the ZenFone 11 Ultra. The ZenFone 11 Ultra is the 2024 flagship phone from Asus was launched with Android 14. The device is getting its first major update, bringing a range of new features.
Last month, Asus released the Android 15 update for the ZenFone 10 and Rog Phone 8 with new features and security enhancements. So this ZenFone 11 Ultra becomes the third Asus phone to get the latest major Android 15 update.
The Android 15 update for the ZenFone 11 Ultra is rolling out with build number 35.1210.1420.85. Since it is a major update, it weighs in GB, so make sure to use Wi-Fi to download the update. As mentioned earlier, it brings various new features such as new UI, revamped apps, private space, and more. Fortunately, the company has provided official changelog which you can check out below.
- Introduced new ZenUI design, including the Predictive back animation, and Edge to edge display
- Revamped Mobile Manager, Contacts, Phone, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, Weather, Sound recorder, Settings, Phone Clone, Launcher, Game Genie, Health Connect, and so on
- Support the Private space feature: Hide or lock private apps in a separate space, with a dedicated Google account and locking functionality. Detailed options can be adjusted in the Privacy settings.
- Support Live Caption, Live Transcribe, Sound Notifications, Unknown tracker alerts, Allow WEP networks, and Automatically turn on Bluetooth tomorrow settings.
- Adjusted the floating window to Android 15 behavior: Tap the three dot menu at the top to open the tool panel, Tap and drag the top area of the window to change the position, Tap and drag the edge of the window to resize the window
- Support new features of Link to Windows, such as Instant Hotspot, allowing your connected computer to use mobile hotspot in an instant

- Updated Android security patch to 2025-02-01
- Some 3rd-party apps are not compatible with Android 15 yet
- To enhance security, downgrading to a previous software version will not be possible after this update.
The Android 15 update for the Zenfone 11 Ultra is rolling out gradually, and will continue over the next few weeks. So if you haven’t received the update yet, you will get it soon.
