Apple seeds the first beta of watchOS 11.5 to developers

After rolling out watchOS 11.4 to the public yesterday, Apple has now released the first beta of watchOS 11.5 to developers for testing purposes.

If your Apple Watch is compatible with watchOS 11, you can install the incremental watchOS 11.5 beta on your smartwatch. Apple pushes the gradual beta upgrade to the watch with the 22T5542f build number.

The first beta of Apple Watch Series 7 weighs around 544MB in download size. If you’re a developer, you can freely install the forthcoming watchOS 11.5 beta on your watch.

When it comes to changes, Apple didn’t mention any changes in the release notes. However, the upcoming software upgrade is expected to enhance the user experience on Apple Watch further.

Installing watchOS 11.5 Beta on Apple Watch

First things first, you need to update your iPhone to iOS 18.5 beta. Once done, you can follow these steps to install the watchOS beta on your watch.

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General > Software Update.
  3. Select Beta Updates and enable watchOS 11 Developer Beta option.
  4. Go back and download the first beta of watchOS 11.5.
  5. Thatโ€™s it.

Make sure that your Apple Watch is charged at least 50% and connected to a WiFi network.

Now the watchOS 11.5 first beta update will download and transfer to your Apple Watch.
