Apple recently rolled out iOS 16.2. The new software brings 5G support to compatible iPhone models in India.

If 5G network is available in your city, then you can turn on 5G on your iPhone easily to enjoy latest gen network.

For eligibility, if you own iPhone SE (2022), iPhone 12, iPhone 13, or iPhone 14 series model, then you can activate 5G on your iPhone.

First things first, you need to update your iPhone to iOS 16.2. You can update your iPhone by navigating to Settings > General > Software update.
Once your iPhone is updated to iOS 16.2, you can turn on 5G on your iPhone.

To activate 5G on iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data, now either select 5G On or 5G Auto.
Once your iPhone detect the 5G network, you will see the 5G icon on the status bar.

Keep in mind that 5G will consume data more quickly. It will also impact battery life.
