Vivo is slowly expanding the availability of Android 16-based skin OriginOS 6. The company has already released the upgrade for several X-series, V-series, and T-series phones. After updating the Vivo T4 Ultra earlier this month, Vivo has now extended the software upgrade to the standard Vivo T4. So, if you own the Vivo T4, you can now upgrade your phone to the OriginOS 6 update.
Vivo is rolling out the new software upgrade to the T4 with PD2456JF_EX_A_16.1.10.2.W30 firmware version. For the time being, the upgrade is in a rollout phase and available to limited users. Amit on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) already received the update with a size of around 3.85GB.
Vivo usually pushes the update first to testers through its trial program, meaning this isn’t the final public build. If everything goes fine with this build, the upgrade will be pushed to the masses. If you own the Vivo T4 and want to update your phone to Android 16, you can request the update through the trial program. Also, please ensure that your phone is running on the latest available software version.
Talking about the features and changes, the new upgrade brings for the Vivo T4 are an all-new user interface, smooth animations, AI lightning, redesigned media player, enhanced lock screen customization, and many other features. Since the update is based on Android 16, it also includes stock Android features. The update changelog is the same as mentioned on this page.
If you reside in India and own the Vivo T4, you can now upgrade your device to OriginOS 6 based Android 16 update by navigating to Settings > About Phone > System updates > version Trial > Trial version > download and install.
Please take a backup of important data before updating your device to the latest update. Also, charge your phone to atleast 50% before installing the update.
