Samsung has finally released the stable One UI 8 Watch update to the public. The update goes live for Galaxy Watch Ultra. The new software upgrade debuted with the Galaxy Watch 8 series and the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). The update comes with a bunch of new features, animations, enhancements, and fixes.
The stable rollout of One UI 8 Watch-based on Wear OS 6 is live in the USA for the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024). At the moment, the update is available to users on AT&T and T-Mobile networks, with a wider rollout expected to begin shortly. The update is seeding with L705USQU1BYFE build number and weighs a whopping 1.9GB in download size.
The update is already available to many users across the USA. Reddit user, u/Anti_colonialist, shared the screenshot and confirmed several other details. The update brings the May 2025 monthly security patch. Here’s the screenshot shared by the user.
Talking about the features, One UI 8 Watch comes with new charging animations, new watch faces, a battery icon, better animations for complications, grid and list support in App list, stacked notifications, and more.
If you reside in the USA and own the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024), you can now upgrade your watch to the newest available software upgrade. You can navigate to Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, then Watch Settings > Watch Software Update > tap Download and Install. If the update is available for your watch, it will instantly appear on the screen, tap Install to install the new upgrade.
