Back in January 2021, the Noida-based smartphone OEM, Lava announced a new range of Z-series phones in India. Now the latest listing confirms that the company could soon launch a new entry-level smartphone in India. The upcoming smartphone will come with Android 11 OS out-of-the-box. The listing reveals a few specifications of the upcoming smartphone. We can expect that it will join the Z-series lineup.
Lava’s upcoming device has listed on the Geekbench website. And the listing reveals the codename of the smartphone – LZG402.
In January, the company announced its entry-level smartphone, Lava Z2 in India. Lava Z2 is also known as LZG01 (code name). So, we can expect, the homegrown brand, could launch the LZG402 in India as the Lava Z2 Pro or Lava Z3.
The Geekbench listing also reveals that the upcoming phone will be equipped with a 2GB RAM. The device will be loaded with an ARM Unisoc based octa-core chipset, it’s a 1.20GHz processor. Lava’s upcoming phone will run on Android 11 or it will be Android 11 Go OS. Obviously, it is based on the stock Android. Talking about the scores, then the device scores 133 for single-core and 487 for multi-core.
There are some chances that, the Indian smartphone brand will also announce a few more phones alongside the Lava LZG402. According to the previous reports, Lava is also working on a 5G-enabled smartphone.
The listing indicates that the smartphone will be priced less than ₹10K. If you’re waiting for a new Indian smartphone from Lava, then the company could soon launch its affordable smartphone.
