The third major update of iOS 26, iOS 26.3, is set to be released soon. But exactly how soon? You’ll find out right here.
Apple has been testing iOS 26.3 since December and has already released three beta builds. We are getting closer to the public release of iOS 26.3 with every beta release.
The latest iOS 26.3 Beta 3 was released on January 25. It introduces some minor changes and improvements over the previous beta build. iOS 26.3 Beta 3 comes with build number 23D5114d. Since the build number ends with ‘d’, it implies that there might be at least one more beta release before the release candidate.
We can expect the beta 4 to be released next week, on January 2. The following week, we can expect the Release Candidate build. If you’re not familiar with Apple’s update process, the public release is usually the following week of the release candidate. This means that the iOS 26.3 could be released to the public on February 16.
However, if Apple doesn’t release iOS 26.3 Beta 4 and instead releases the RC build next week, the iOS 26.3 update could also be released on February 9 or any day of that week.
Since Apple has already released two big updates following iOS 26, the third update, iOS 26.3, is expected to include fewer changes than previous updates. But there are still some important new features to be excited about.
One of the main features of iOS 26.3 is the Transfer to Android. This update allows iPhone users to easily switch to Android devices. Additionally, users can receive notifications from their Apple device on third-party wearables like the Galaxy Watch.
These are the main changes that you should try once the iOS 26.3 is released and installed on your device.
