Huawei Pura X – Quick Overview
While almost every smartphone brand is working on refining their products by making small changes. Huawei set the standard high with an innovative design with its latest clamshell foldable smartphone – the Huawei Pura X. The phone opens sideways to make the form factor similar to tablets with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
Huawei Pura X features a 6.3-inch LTPO2 Foldable OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, whereas, the outer screen on the clamshell is a 3.5-inch LTPO2 OLED panel. The phone is powered by the Kirin 9020 chipset and it is the first device to ship without Android app compatibility. Not only this, but it has Huawei’s in-house Harmony Intelligence AI assistant.
The phone goes official in 12GB / 16GB RAM options alongside the 256GB / 512GB / 1TB onboard storage. Huawei Pura X packs a 4,720mAh battery and supports 66W wired fast charging. The smartphone has a 10.7MP selfie camera.
Huawei Pura X has a quad-camera setup on its back, featuring a 50MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 40MP ultra-wide-angle lens, paired with a 1.5MP spectral image sensor. In terms of pricing, the Pura X starts from CNY 7,499 ($1,035/€955).
