Early this month, Huawei announced the next iteration of its mobile operating system – HarmonyOS 4 at its annual Huawei Developer Conference 2023. HarmonyOS 4 brings a major redesign to the visual elements including the home screen and lock screen, a new emoji pack with some animated emojis, revamped notifications center, Live Window (to take on Dynamic Island), and more. With a major redesign, the operating system brings a bunch of new wallpapers to flaunt the new elements. Here you can download all HarmonyOS 4 wallpapers for your smartphone.

HarmonyOS 4 – Quick Overview

HarmonyOS 4 public beta is already available for a number of premium Huawei phones including the Mate 50 series, P60 series, Mate X3, and more. It will also be expanded to a big list of eligible phones in the coming weeks. In terms of changes, HarmonyOS 4 gives you the option to change the system font, device theme palette/colors, widgets styles, clock on the lock screen, animated weather wallpaper for the lock screen, emoji wallpapers, and more.

Huawei has also introduced the Live Window, a pill-shaped small user interface intended to function similarly to Apple’s Dynamic Island, offering quick alerts and notifications. Currently, it works with most of the system apps on Huawei phones. The feature isn’t limited to phones, it will also be available on tablets.

The new operating system also comes with updated emojis which can animate too. The HarmonyOS 4 also comes with an updated Notification Center and several new widgets and cards. Huawei’s Super Transfer station also receives a major upgrade, system-wide search gets improvements, better privacy and security, and more.

HarmonyOS 4 Wallpapers

Huawei bundles the new HarmonyOS 4 with a bunch of new wallpapers. In total, there are 28 new wallpapers available on the operating system including the new emoji wallpaper. The collection has a number of abstract wallpapers, minimal wallpapers, and some beautiful scenery. All these wallpapers are available in high quality (2700 X 2700 pixels resolution), so there’s no need to be worried about quality of images. Here are the preview images.
