Apple quietly launched its new MacBook Pro models alongside the M2 Mac mini in a press release on January 17th. The new MacBook Pro 2023 is powered by the new M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. As expected the new MacBook Pro is here with supercharged new silicon chips. New chips are the M2 Pro and M2 Max which are high-performance chips in the M2 family. The MacBook Pro 2023 is available in M2 Pro and M2 Max options. M2 Max model is superior among the two.
The latest MacBook Pro is available in two different screen options, 14-inch, and 16-inch. The MacBook Pro 2023 comes with up to 96GB of RAM and up to 8TB of SSD storage. This is a huge jump in RAM configuration compared to the 64 GB RAM on the previous MacBook Pro.
The MacBook Pro with the M2 Pro has 10 and 12-core CPUs for up to 20% better performance than the M1 Pro model. And the GPU performs 30% better while the Neural Engine is 40% faster. The M2 Max model is also 20% faster in CPU performance than M1 Max.
MacBook Pro 2023 comes with all the latest technology such as WiFi 6E, 8K external display support at 60Hz, or 4K support at 240Hz. And talking about battery, the 16-inch is advertised for up to 22hr battery life on a single charge and up to 18hr battery life for the 14-inch model. Along with the mammoth specs, the new MacBook Pro 2023 also comes with cool material wallpapers.
