Google has released a new Android 14 QPR2 beta build for the Pixel 5a. Yes, the new incremental beta is only available for Pixel 5a. This is a fix update to the recently released beta 3.1. Android 14 QPR2 beta 3.2 for Pixel 5a is marked an important update as it addresses several bugs.
For those unaware, QPR Beta is a test build of a feature drop update. Pixel Feature Drop updates are big updates released every quarter. Yes, sometimes Google surprises with unscheduled feature drops as we got last week.
Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3.2 for Pixel 5a comes with build number AP11.231215.010. Since this is a minor incremental update, everything else remains the same like Android security patches and Google Play Services.
As mentioned earlier, this is a small but an important beta update as it fixes a lot of bugs like slow boot up time, interface lags and freezing issues. There arenโt any new features and changes other than the mentioned bug fixes.
The latest Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3.2 is available to Pixel 5a users who opted for the Android 14 beta program. Those who are on a stable build will not be getting this beta update. For stable users, the update will be released in March.
If you have Pixel 5a and opted for beta program, you can check for the update manually in Settings. Don’t forget to take backup before installing the update and keep the battery above 50%.
