Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 13 based Android 12 update for Mi Note 10 Lite

After successfully releasing the MIUI 13 based Android 12 update to the newer mid-range and affordable phones. Xiaomi has started rolling out the update to the 2020 Mi series phones – Mi Note 10 Lite. MIUI 13 is based on Android 12 tags along with a big list of new features and enhancements. Xiaomi kicks off the new OTA to the Mi Note 10 Lite with 13.0.1.0.SFNMIXM software version. The software is seeding in a staged manner, will be available to everyone in the coming days. At the time of writing, the update is available to select users.

The smartphone was announced back in 2020 with Android 10 OS, last year, it received its first major OS update, in the form of an Android 11 update. It also got the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update in December last year. Now it’s time for the second big update – the Android 12 update. As it is a big update, it needs a big amount of data for downloading, I suggest you connect your phone to a WiFi connection for faster installation.

Before moving ahead, MIUI 13 update on Mi Note 10 Lite comes with the February 2022 monthly security patch, a sidebar with floating windows, improved accessibility for select apps, RAM optimization engine, processor priority optimization, extended battery life of up to 10%, sidebar, and more. As of now, it doesn’t have features like the new Super Wallpapers and the new widgets system, we can expect that it will be rolled out with an incremental OTA. The Global Stable build of MIUI 13 is out for the Mi Note 10 Lite, if you’re using the Mi Note 10 Lite running global stable update, then you can now update it to the newer version. For the time being, the new skin is available for users who opted company’s beta testing program known as the pilot testing program. If everything goes fine, we can expect a stable OTA within the next few weeks.
