Earlier this month, Xiaomi kicked off the Android 12 centric MIUI 13 update for the Mi 11x Pro, but there was no information about the Pro variant. If you’re using the Mi 11x, then we have a good piece of news for you, Xiaomi has started pushing the MIUI 13 update to the non-pro variant. The new update bags new goodies, system-wide enhancements, and fixes. Read along to know more about Mi 11x Android 12 update.
Xiaomi plants the new software update on Mi 11x with 13.0.4.0.SKHINXM software version. It requires 3.1 GB of data for downloading, yes, this is a big update, you can connect your phone to the WiFi for quick installation. At the moment, the update is rolling to the users who have opted for the pilot testing program, although, it is a stable build, but still rolling first to the testers. If everything goes fine, it will be available to everyone in a matter of time.
Mi 11x receives the new update with last month’s security patch – February 2022 security patch. Moving to the features, then the update is seeding with features such as optimized file storage system, RAM optimization engine, processor priority optimization, extended battery life of up to 10%, sidebar, and more. As of now, it doesn’t have features like the new Super Wallpapers and the new widgets system, we can expect that it will be rolled out with an incremental OTA.
