Xiaomi released Android 12 based MIUI 13 update for Mi 11 Lite 5G with new widget ecosystem

Last month, Xiaomi kicked off the MIUI 13 update for the Mi 11 Lite (4G). Now the company has expanded its new software to the 5G-variant. Yes, if you’re using the Mi 11 Lite 5G, then you can now upgrade your phone to the Android 12 based MIUI 13 software version. The latest update is seeding with a flurry of new features, improvements, and fixes. Here you can check everything about Mi 11 Lite 5G MIUI 13 update.

Xiaomi plants the latest update on Mi 11 Lite 5G with 13.0.2.0.SKIMIXM software version weighs around 3.4GB in size. MIUI 13 is the first major OS upgrade for the Mi 11 Lite 5G. Like every other major OS upgrade, it requires a huge amount of data for downloading. I suggest you connect your phone to a stable WiFi connection for sideloading the update. At the time of writing the update is seeding on the global units, will also join other regions in the coming days. Obviously, the update is based on the newest Android version, i.e. Android 12.

The update is already available for download on some units, it will be available to everyone within a few days. Talking about the features and changes, then as per the changelog, the update packs a big list of changes, including a new widget ecosystem, new MIUI 13 Super Wallpapers, and more. These features were not available on the MIUI 13 updates released last month. Moving to the enhancements, then the new update brings an optimized file storage system, RAM optimization engine, processor priority optimization, extended battery life of up to 10%, new wallpapers, sidebar, and more.
