Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro gets MIUI 12 Global Stable Update in India [Download Link]

From the past few days, Xiaomi is working painstakingly to push its latest iteration of Android skin – MIUI 12, in India. Recently, the company has pushed the OTA to the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Now Xiaomi has started pushing the MIUI 12 update for Redmi 6 Pro. To recall, the device was launched back in 2018 with Android Oreo 8.0. Last year, it received an Android 10-based MIUI 11 update. Now the newer update arrives with a slew of new features. Let’s explore more about the Redmi 6 Pro MIUI 12 Update.

Although, there’s no official confirmation about the rollout of MIUI 12 on Redmi 6 Pro. But there are some users reportedly receiving the update with 12.0.2.0.PDMMIXM build number with a download size of 644MB. As of now, It is seeding in the Indian region, which will be expanded globally in the coming days. The official OTA might take some time to be available for everyone. But luckily, you can sideload the newest build via recovery ROM.

Talking about the features then, Redmi 6 Pro MIUI 12 Update comes with new animations, intuitive UI, Dark Mode 2.0, Floating Window, New Control center, customization features, and obviously the MIUI 12 Wallpapers. Xiaomi has also released its MIUI 12 update for the Poco F1, Poco X2, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 9, Mi 10 Lineup, Redmi Note 7/7S, and Redmi Note 7 Pro.
