Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Review: Everything that you can do with Band

Xiaomi Mi Band widely used as fitness tracker by tracking users activity. Do you know it can also be used to control your Apps on the phone? Yes, there are many apps available in Play Store that increases the performance of Mi Band 2. Here is the full Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Review and what you can expect from it.

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Review:

After using Mi Band 2 for a week, we are reviewing this product for you. If you are looking forward to buying this product you should first read this review. We have received the product from Banggood. The Mi Band 2 is easy to control and easy to use.

Mi Bands 2 Design:

In Design, we can say Xiaomi has done a decent job. It has a good combination of Band and Display. You can set what to display on Mi Band 2 Screen like Date with time and day, Steps, Heart Rate, Distance, Battery icon, Battery percentage etc. You can easily manage Screen with these features. The Mi Band 2 also comes with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. This means you can wash your hands without taking it off, but you shouldn’t go swimming with it.

Mi Band 2 Performance & Connectivity:

First of all, you need to connect it to your phone. It is the challenging part because most of the time it takes a lot of tries to connect to the phone. But if it gets connected it works fine. The performance is not accurate as I was expecting, but it did a good job. You can easily track your Activities with Mi-Fit App. You can also set daily goals or a particular goal. One of my favorite things about the Mi Band 2 is the Idle Alert feature. The device will give you a short vibration if you’re inactive for one hour, and you can customize what times of day this feature is turned on.

Battery:

Talking about battery performance, it can last up to more ten days with one full charge. I think it is great, with its long-lasting battery.

Things I Don’t Like:

The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 comes with inconsistent heart rate sensor, which is annoying. Also, It is very difficult to pair the band with any device, suppose if you are pair this band with your device then you can’t able to pair it with another smartphone easily. It is very difficult to process, you may need to install a third-party app to pair with other devices.

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Specifications:

Talking about the Mi Band 2, it comes with 20 days of battery life. The Xiaomi Band 2 features 0.42-inch OLED display with scratch-resistant glass and anti-fingerprint coating. It runs on MIUI 6 and above, or Android 4.0+, or iOS 7+ (iPhone 4S, 5/ 5S/ 5C, 6/ 6S/ 6 Plus/ 6S Plus/ 7/ 7 Plus/ 8/ 8 Plus/ iPhone X). The Fitness Band has Smart Unlock feature, It has a great feature if you have Xiaomi Smartphone & when you unlock your smartphone pack automatically unlocks your Band.

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is waterproof Fitness Band and comes with IP 67 Rating. It also has Optical Heart Rate sensor for measuring the heart rate. In connectivity, it includes with Dialog 2 Bluetooth 4.0 BLE. The Fitness Band comes with 70mAh of the battery which has 20 days of standby time.
