Just a few days ago, Redmi Note 9 Pro received the stable update of MIUI 12. Now, Redmi Note 9 Pro in India is reportedly receiving Android 11 stable build. Obviously, it is based on MIUI 12 and brings a slew of new features with new OS. The Redmi Note 9 Pro is one of the first mid-ranges from Xiaomi to receive the Android 11 update in India. The new firmware bears V12.0.1.0.RJWINXM software version and weighs a whopping 2.3GB size to download. Redmi Note 9 Pro Android 11 Stable Update is currently weeding in India over-the-air and a bunch of users have already reported receiving the newer patch on different social media channels.

Though, it is also possible for users outside India to flash the update manually on their Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphones. If you’re in a hurry and don’t want to wait for the official OTA, then you can gran the recovery ROM from the below link and sideload the newer build on your smartphone manually. Here’s the link.

To sideload the recovery ROM package (Update file), you need to head over to the system settings, then updates, then select the update package manually. Allow the prompts to install the build.

Once the installation process is completed, reboot your Redmi Note 9 Pro, once done, you can start using your device running on Android 10 based MIUI 12.
