Xiaomi finally starts rolling out Android 11 update for Redmi K20

The wait is finally over! Xiaomi has started rolling out Android 11 update for Redmi K20 in India. Just a few days ago, the Pro variant of Redmi K20 received MIUI 12.5 based Android 11 update. Now it’s a time for the non-pro version, however, the update on non-pro variant is based on MIUI 12. The update comes with a number of new features, improvements, and fixes. Xiaomi plants the new update with 12.1.4.0.RFJINXM software version number. The update was released for pilot testers last week. It is a second update for beta testers and measures around 143MB of size for downloading. While the update for other users, weighs whopping 2.2GB in size. It is a major OS upgrade, weighs more than usual monthly OTA patches, so I suggest you to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network for uninterrupted installation.
