Windows 11 Subsystem for Android starts getting February update

Windows Subsystem for Android starts getting the February update with a bunch of improvements and upgraded security. The latest update arrives one month after the introduction of Android 13. The upgrade goes live on all channels in Windows Insider Program, you can easily upgrade to the latest software to try out the new features.

Microsoft is pushing the new Windows Subsystem for Android upgrade with the 2301.40000.4.0 version number, you can quickly install the new build from the Microsoft Store.

The latest version of WSA is rolling with newer Chromium WebView (v108), newer security patches, synchronizing global microphone and camera privacy toggles between Windows and Android apps, and more.

In terms of improvements the upgrade brings, enhancements to audio input latency, camera experience, platform reliability, better framerate performance with benchmarks improved by 10%-20% on ARM and 40%-50% on x64-based systems, and also fixes the zooming issues using touchpad or mouse.
