Microsoft has just released a new cumulative update for Windows 11 users running on Windows 11 22H2 in the release preview channel. The latest build is tagged with Windows 11 build 22621.169 version number and rolling with a slew of fixes and improvements. As mentioned earlier, it is available for users who opted the release preview channel in the Windows Insider program and running on Windows 11 22H2 upgrade. Microsoft kicks off the new upgrade with Windows 11 Build 22621.169 (KB5014958) build number. The latest incremental build weighs small in size, so you can quickly install it on your Windows 11 system. Today’s cumulative update is rolling with select new features and a bunch of fixes. We can expect these features will be released with this month’s Tuesday patch.
Moving to the list of changes, then the upgrade brings support for TLS 1.3 in Windows client, LDAP server implementation, enabled InternetExplorerModeEnableSavePageAs group policy, fixed disappearing issue of Take Photo button when using common file dialog to open camera, fixed issue which prevents Microsoft Edge from being available in Windows Sandbox, addresses Windows update issue for same extension driver, and more. - We fixed an issue that occurs when the Active Directory Lightweight Directory Service (LDS) resets the password for userProxy objects. The password reset fails with an error such as, “00000005: SvcErr: DSID-03380C23, problem 5003 (WILL_NOT_PERFORM), data 0”.

- We fixed an issue that occurs when the Active Directory Lightweight Directory Service (AD LDS) resets the password for userProxy objects. When you try to reset someone else’s password and you are authenticated using a simple bind, the password reset fails. The error is like, “00000005: SvcErr: DSID-03380C23, problem 5003 (WILL_NOT_PERFORM), data 0”.
