Apple has already started testing the fourth iteration of iOS 18, the iOS 18.4 update. Its first beta was released in the second half of February, and the latest beta is the fourth.
Thanks to the first three beta builds of iOS 18.4, we know the new features that will come with the next big update. Among these features are visual intelligence for iPhone 15 Pro, different shortcuts to invoke visual intelligence such as control center, action button, and camera control, new emojis, priority notifications powered by Apple Intelligence, and much more.
These exciting features will be available to everyone upon the public release. Currently, they are only available to developers and beta testers.
iOS 18.4 Release Date
From the first three beta builds of iOS 18.4, we can infer that it will be an interesting update and we are eagerly waiting for the update. Although the beta is available, most users prefer the public release, which is free of major bugs.

Apple has already confirmed that the next big update, iOS 18.4, will be released in April, which will also bring support for Apple Intelligence in more languages.
Update: The fourth beta of iOS 18.4 comes with build number 22E5232a indicating that the Release Candidate build might be released next week. If there aren’t any more beta updates, the official iOS 18.4 could launch in the first week of April.
The third iOS 18.4 was released on March 10th, and we can expect two more beta builds in the coming two weeks. Why two beta builds instead of one? It is because the build number from the latest beta suggests that we are still far from the Release Candidate. So, it is likely that there will be at least two more beta builds before the Release Candidate is released.
The iOS 18.4 RC could be released in the first week of April, followed by the official release in the second week of April. This means you can expect iOS 18.4 to be released between April 7 and April 11 (Now with iOS 18.4 beta 4 out, first week is also the possibility). In the meantime, there will be a minor update, iOS 18.3.2.
As usual, Apple hasn’t officially shared a specific date for the public release of iOS 18.4. However, based on previous updates and the current circumstances, we can make some informed guesses.
