Apple’s WWDC 21 just landed with a lot of new announcements. The one that has got everyone excited is the software updates. iOS 15 is finally here.

Release Date

iOS 15 Developer Beta 15 is already available. And the beta will go live in July for Public testers. And the stable iOS 15 will release this Fall.

iOS 15 brings in a lot of new features and updated privacy settings to always be protected from any kind of security flaws.

FaceTime

iOS 15 brings in much better Facetime improvements with Spatial Audio, Grid View. Plus the addition of Portrait mode as well.

SharePlay

Users can now SharePlay Apple Music or any other streaming services during a Facetime session. Pluto TV, TikTok, Twitch, and a lot more apps are adding SharePlay integrations.

Notification Layout

You can now let unimportant notifications show up together at a certain point in time. Contact photos and images have now been added to easily identify notifications.

Live Text in Camera

In iOS 15, you will be able to copy texts from images and can directly translate with Live Text translation feature. Spotlight also improved.

Apple Wallet Improvements

Now easily store digital copies of your IDs and as well as digital keys be it for your cars, home, or hotel room. Aloof this data is stored in the Secure Element.

iOS 15 Eligible iPhones

The iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, X, XR, XS, XS Max, and all the iPhone 11 and 12 series eligible for iOS 15. The 7th Gen iPod also eligible.
