iOS 16 is the next iOS version for the iPhone and is currently available in developer as well as public beta.

Apple has almost completed iOS 16 beta testing. And so here is when iOS 16 will be released to the public.
Earlier this week, Apple released the last beta of iOS 16. This means that only Release Candidate and Public Builds are left.

Yesterday, Apple officially confirmed the upcoming event by sending out invites. The 'Far Out' event will take place on 7 September.
The Release Candidate build is expected to release on the event day that is on September 7. There could be two RC in next two weeks.

And the final iOS 16 release is expected to release on September 13 or the same week. The iPhone 14 will also be available the same week.

iOS 16 will be available for the iPhone 8 and newer iPhones. Now we won't have to wait long to get our hands on the new iOS.
