What’s New in the first beta of iOS 16.4?

This week, Apple released the first beta of iOS 16.4. iOS 16.4 is going to be the fourth big update since iOS 16.

The first beta comes with a host of new features including new emojis, new shortcuts, keyboard changes, and more. Here are all the new features coming with iOS 16.4 beta 1.

Software updates get a new Beta updates section, which let users allow to opt in the beta program directly from Settings.

From the next update, users will need to sign in with a developer ID or the ID they signed up for the public beta, and the beta update option will appear in Software Update.

The first beta build brings a bunch of new Emojis.

New Emojis

iOS 16.4 Beta adds one new option ‘5G Standalone’ in Voice & Data settings. Its availability depends on carrier and device model.

The new update enables 5G support for iPhone users in Turkey.
