Apart from the foldables and smartwatches, Samsung has announced a new product at the Galaxy Unpacked July event - the Galaxy Ring.
Galaxy Ring, is a smart ring offering numerous health monitoring features, including measuring heart rate, skin temperature, and sleep tracking.
The Galaxy Ring comes in various US ring sizes: the smallest size 5 measures 7.0 mm x 2.6 mm and weighs just 2.3 grams, while the size 13 weighs 3 grams.
While ordering the Galaxy Ring, users can ask for the Sizing Kit, which will be shipped freely and help you measure your finger size properly.
Samsung Galaxy Ring comes in three colors: Silver, Gold, and Black. It features a concave design with sides tapering into the center.
The smallest size ring feature a 17mAh battery and rated at up to 6 days of use in a single charge, while, the largest model has a 22.5mAh battery with up to 7 days backup.
For charging, there’s a case similar to the earbuds case, the Ring’s case packs a 361mAh battery pack and should provide up to 20 full recharges.
Samsung Galaxy Ring will work exclusively with Galaxy phones running on Android 11 or later and support Bluetooth LE 5.4.
The best part is, there’s no need to buy any additional subscription with Galaxy Ring.
In terms of pricing, the Galaxy Ring costs $399 and is up for pre-orders. It will be available from July 24.
