Steam Deck just got better with this big update

Valve just pushed an important and a big update to Steam Deck for a better experience. The update is live on a stable channel.

With this new update Steam Deck users can now enable the lock screen. The lock screen will trigger on wake, boot, login, and/or switching to Desktop mode.

The refresh to Achievement page makes it faster to load and easy to navigate to see stats and even to compare stats with your friends.

Valve has added localized keyboards for 21 languages and support for multiple keyboards at the same time. Users can select keyboards from the globe button.

Steam Deck can now switch to multiple active windows in apps as well as games using the Steam button. It is useful for browsers and other apps/games with launchers.

This feature was available in Beta. Users can easily enable the uncapped framerate option in the performance tab of Quick Access menu to go beyond 60fps.
