Now the question is whether you should upgrade your iPhone to iOS 15.5 or not. This question comes to mind with every new update.

It depends on the new features and bug fixes. The first new feature in iOS 15.5 is a new modem update. So it will fix if there are any connectivity issues.

- Apple Cash gets Request and Send options. - PS5 DualSense adaptive trigger feedback is also available (the app/game must have support for this to work).

- Quickly login using FaceID via passkey technology in iOS 15.5. - iOS 15.5 also fixes issues like storage bug, battery consumption, heating issues.

iPadOS already had Universal Controls feature but it was available as a beta. But with iPadOS 15.5 the beta has been removed which means it is stable now.

These are the main changes that you will see in iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5. Of course there are many other changes as well.

If you are using the iOS 15.4 build then you should upgrade as it is a better update. And if you are on an old build waiting for Jailbreak then you shouldn’t.
