The Pixel 8 series, Google's highly anticipated upcoming phone lineup, is expected to be announced in the coming months.
Google to follow same device lineup as Pixel 7 series which means there will be Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in the series.
Display is one of the most valuable part of any phone. And the display specs of upcoming Pixel 8 lineup are already out.
Here's the display specs comparison between Pixel 7 series and Pixel 8 series.

The base variant will feature a slightly smaller 6.17-inch display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and offering a maximum brightness of 1400 nits.

The Pro variant will keep the same screen size but with a bit smaller resolution. It also means ppi will be smaller, and as per leak it will be 490ppi.

Pixel 8 Pro will be way brighter with 1600nits brightness up from 1000nits. It will be having flat display and not round display.

Pixel 8 Pro will support improved variable refresh rate and can now smoothly change the refresh rate between 60 to 120Hz.

The displays on both models will feature rounded corners, a change from the square corners seen on the Pixel 7 series.
