Pixel 8 Google Camera Early Look shows major UI changes

The Pixel 8 series is expected to release soon, probably in the next month or two. Like last year, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will be part of the series.

Pixel phones are popular for amazing camera performance. Even with less powerful hardware, Pixel phones deliver amazing results thanks to amazing software processing.

And every year, Google brings major upgrades to the Pixel's default Google Camera app, and this year the upgrade is pending which will come with the new Pixel lineup.

As per shared images, the new Google Camera will have a separate Photo and Video modes available in icon under modes bar.

Google has also changed the location of Camera switch button and Gallery button. Locations of both buttons interchanged.

In the new version Settings menu appear by swiping up from the bottom. It is just opposite in the current Google Camera UI.

Some modes have been changed as well. Motion mode split into Long Exposure and Action Pan. And there is a dedicated mode for Pan (Cinematic Pan).

Stabilization selection moved to the Settings pop-up menu where users can switch between Locked, Standard, and Active stabilizations.
