List of iPhones eligible for iOS 17

Apple finally announced the next major iOS update, iOS 17 for iPhones at the WWDC 2023 event.

At the event Apple announced a bunch of other products as well. The list includes 15-inch MacBook Air, Mac Studio, Apple Silicon Mac Pro, iPadOS 17 and more.

iOS 16 was one of the biggest updates and so we could not expect back to back big updates. But still iOS 17 features a lot of changes.

If you like what iOS 17 has to offer and want to use iOS 17, you need to check if your iPhone is eligible for the update or not.

This year Apple has removed a couple of iPhones from the iOS 17 update support. It includes one of the popular iPhones.

- iPhone 14 / 14 Plus - iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max - iPhone 13 / 13 mini - iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max - iPhone 12 / 12 mini - iPhone 12 Pro / Pro Max

iOS 17 Supported Devices

- iPhone 11 - iPhone 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max - iPhone XS - iPhone XS Max - iPhone XR - iPhone SE (2nd generation or later)

As you can see iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X are no longer eligible for new iOS updates. iPhone X is one of the popular iPhones.
