Apple has announced the much awaited iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 at the WWDC event on June 10.
However, it's currently only available in beta, and a public release will have to wait until this fall.

The upcoming OS for iPhone and iPad are official, but what about the latest iOS/iPadOS 17, how many people are using it.
Apple has released data on what percent of users have adopted the latest iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 updates.

As per data, 77% of all active iPhone users are using iOS 17. This is a drop from last update. It was 81% last year for iOS 16.

Whereas, 68% of all active iPad users are using iPadOS 17. The iPadOS 16 numbers were 71% last year.

These numbers are better if we talk about models released in last four years. 86% iPhones are on iOS 17, and 77% of iPads are on iPadOS 17.
