Recently Apple released iOS 17.2.1 to the public. This is the last public update for iPhones of 2023.
Apple marks iOS 17.2.1 as an important update that brings security and battery drain fixes.
But the new update is not what it was released for, plus it breaking the cellular connection on iPhone.
Some users reported even faster battery drain after the update. This can be managed but not network issues.

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > VPN > tap "i" > Delete VPN.
You can also try beta update. Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Update > Select Beta.
If nothing works for you, and the situation is not manageable, you can try a factory reset.
If you decide to do factory reset, make sure to take backup og your iPhone first.
