This time with iOS 16, Apple extends SharePlay support to the Messages, here's how to use SharePlay via Messages on iPhone.

Open the app that supports SharePlay, choose the content you want to watch with your friends, then select SharePlay.
Choose the contact, then select Messages or FaceTime, whatever you want, then send the message.
Now press the start button on the SharePlay popup screen and enjoy listening the album in SharePlay mode.
Apple brings dynamic controls for SharePlay on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, which you can access by holding on the dynamic island.
If you want to watch your favorite movie or TV series along with your friend, then SharePlay is one of the best options available on the iPhone.
