How to use Nearby Share in Files by Google

When it comes to file sharing, Android has the easiest way compared to other OS. There are a bunch of Android apps available that are used for sharing.

But one of the preferred ways to share files is to use Nearby Share. Here's how to share files using the Nearby Share in Files by Google app.

Nearby Share is an official feature of Google that can be used to share files. But using Nearby Share is a bit different. So here we are with a handy guide.

Install the Files by Google app on your Android phone, Open the app and tap on three-dots menu icon, then tap share offline.

On some devices, the share option is available in the bottom tab. Under Sharing section, tap the send button to send files to the nearby device.

Tap on Receive option on the second device on which you want to receive the files. Make sure to turn on the WiFi, Bluetooth, and location for sharing.

Now sender will be able to send a file to you, by simply tapping the device name. Once file is shared, tap done.
