Apple released the iOS 16 update to the public on September 12. It is available for iPhone 8 and newer iPhones.
iOS 16 comes with several new features including the much-awaited feature: edit and unsend messages.
If you have updated your iPhone to iOS 16. Here's how to edit and unsend messages.
After sending a message, touch and hold the message and select Edit. Edit and resend your message.
You can edit a message within 15 minutes of sending it. Both the sender and the recipient can view the edit history.
After sending a message, touch and hold it. Now choose Undo Send. This will delete the message for both sender and receiver.
To unsend a message, there is a time limit of 2 minutes. Messages will not delete for the recipients on older iOS versions.
