Putting time limits on app usage is one of the counters to smartphone addiction. Setting a daily limit will prevent you from using app beyond time limit.

At first, open the Settings app, then head over to the Screen Time. Now tap on App Limit.

Here are all categories of the apps available on your iPhone or iPad. Select the relevant category and then choose the app you want to set a limit for.

After selecting the app, tap next, now set the duration as per your needs. You can even customize days if you want.

You can continue using the app normally after setting up the app limit. Let's try out the app.

Once the app reaches the limit you set, you'll see the time limit warning banner. Tapping "Ok" will close the app, while you can tap Ignore to use it further.
