Although many of us don't scan QR codes every day, there may be a time when you need to scan QR codes but don't know how other than using third party apps.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, you don't need to install a third party app to scan a QR code. It is available by default.

To use QR Code Scanner, swipe down on the home screen to bring up the notification panel and swipe down again to access Quick Settings > find Scan QR.
Tap Scan QR Code and point the camera to the QR Code you want to scan.

In case you didn't see the Scan QR code in your quick panel, then you can tap on three dots icon in quick panel, then Edit buttons.
