How to Pin App Shortcuts in Quick Settings on Android

Android OS is a treat for those who love to customize their phones. With a few tips and tricks, you can do a lot more.

Switching between apps is quite easy when apps are open. But if not, you will have to go to the home screen to open them. Let's change that.

Here is a trick to pin Apps shortcut in the notification panel to open it without going to home screen.

First things first, download a third-party app - Notification Shortcuts from Google Play Store.

Lets Begin

To add app shortcuts tap on the "+" icon then choose between an app, shortcuts, or Settings Toggles.

By default, there are six slots per row, but you can add up to 12 shortcuts per row. There are three rows but one is free.

All done? Turn the Enable Shortcuts toggle on. Now you can access app shortcuts directly from Notification Panel.

BONUS TIP: You can customize the app icons if you want by tapping on it, then you can choose custom icon from any icon app.
