At first, you need to download an app, called, MD Blank - Transparent widget. It's available on the App Store.

Let's Begin!
Take a screenshot of empty page. Tap and hold on empty area, when iPhone is in jiggle mode take screenshot by pressing power button and volume up simultaneously.

Now open the MD Blank widget app and add the screenshot you captured in the last page. You can set image for both light and dark modes.

Now add a medium size MD Blank widget on the home screen. To add a widget tap and hold on an empty area of screen and then tap on "+" icon from top left corner.

By default, the widget picks the top area, you need to change it to middle. Tap and hold on widget, then Edit widget > change V-Pos to Mid.
