Recently, Apple released iOS 16.1 to the public. iOS 16.1 brings Live Activities support to the iPhone Lock Screen.
With the release of iOS 16.1, iPhone users can download the Live Activities compatible apps from the App Store.

A third-party app - Lock Launcher allows iPhone users to add app shortcuts on lock screen, here's how to use it.

First things first, download the Lock Launcher app from the App Store, then open the app.
Open the app, then select Favorites and add apps or activities you want to show on your lock screen.
Select Dynamic Island Icon available at the top right corner and turn the toggle on for Live Activities (Dynamic Island), now go to lock screen.
All done? Now you can instantly open apps or any setting directly from the lock screen. You can even customize the icons.
You can also add the lock launcher widget on your iPhone's home screen.
