The easy way to hide an app is by removing it from home screen. Hold the app icon and remove it from home screen to hide the app.

Remove from Home Screen

To hide a home screen page, activate jiggle mode by tap and hold for a sec, then tap on three dots and untick the page you want to hide.

Hide Pages

You can hide apps using Screen Time. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed app. Now turn the toggle off for default apps.

Screen Time

There's one more way to hide apps from iPhone. Head over to the Screen Time Settings > Content & Privacy Restrictions > tap on Content Restrictions.
